What are the DCD requirements for fire escape staircases?
Dubai Civil Defense requires fire escape staircases to meet specific width, tread/riser dimensions, handrail heights, and material/fire-rating requirements. We are fully familiar with DCD regulations and assist with the NOC application process.
Can you fabricate a spiral staircase for a small space?
Yes. Spiral staircases are ideal for tight spaces. We fabricate from 1.2m diameter upward and can customize tread width, height, and finishes.
Are external fire escapes galvanized or painted?
We recommend hot-dip galvanizing for all external fire escapes in the UAE climate for maximum corrosion resistance. Top-coat painting can be applied over galvanizing.
